Job Description Summary:
At MaximEyes, we empower eye care practices with innovative EHR and Practice Management Software solutions. We're seeking a motivated Software Trainer to guide our clients through successful deployment and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term success.
What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
- Deliver Virtual Training: Train doctors and their staff on using MaximEyes.com effectively, covering all aspects of practice operations—from front desk to billing, exams, and optical.
- Travel Requirements: While this position is remote, travel is required for onsite training for certain clients, in-person meetings, and trade shows. Candidates must be prepared to travel as needed to support client success and represent the company, including on weekends.
- Customize Software Solutions: Assist clients in setup and customization of the software.
- Streamline Workflows: Improve office workflows and suggest add-on solutions using advanced knowledge in MaximEyes features.
- Support Clients Beyond Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition during deployment and continue to provide guidance for optimizing software usage post-implementation.
- Enhance Product Development: Provide feedback to engineering and product specialists about product features and customer use.
- Drive Customer Retention: Engage with escalated clients to ensure satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Host Educational Webinars: Conduct webinar trainings for both internal resources and customers.
Experience You’ll Need: Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in an eye care practice including experience in using EHR and Practice management Software.
- At least 1+ years of experience in training Eyecare practices on EHR and Practice management software which includes both Optometry and Ophthalmology practices.
- Enjoys coaching people to help them grow and learn.
- Strong customer relations, written, and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff.
- Knowledge with Google Workplace (formerly Google Suite, Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
- Strong written/oral communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to changing priorities based on deadlines and requests.

- Optical sales knowledge
- Medical billing and insurance knowledge
- Ophthalmic technician or scribing experience
- Troubleshooting and technical support experience
- Project management and problem-solving
